Bio

Carissa began learning piano at the age of 9. She then transitioned to taking lessons with Jordyn Severin, who helped Carissa to continue to develop her musical knowledge. 

Carissa holds her Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) grade 8. She has also worked at the Marie-Rose Music Summer Camps for over three years, where she continued to develop her passion for teaching.

As a piano teacher, Carissa is committed to helping children cultivate a love for music. She believes that piano lessons should be enjoyable, while also incorporating essential elements such as theory, technique, and classical repertoire.
