Bio

Serena Zhang began studying piano at the age of 6. She is currently a First Class Honours Royal Conservatory of Music Associate (ARCT) Diplomate.

Over the years, Serena has earned a Gold Award from the National Steinway Piano Competition and numerous top prizes from the Ontario Music Festival Association, the Windsor-Essex and the Chatham-Kent Kiwanis Music Festivals. She has been awarded the Most Distinguished Pianist Award from the Windsor-Essex Kiwanis Music Festival as well as being one of the five finalists of the Young Artist Competition, the top-level prestigious biannual music competition in Ontario.

Serena currently studies under Dr. Gregory Butler. She is an energetic and enthusiastic teacher, ready to teach students of all ages and levels.
