Bio

Ava has been part of Marie Rose Music Studio for over 16 years. She started lessons from a very young age and has been volunteering at our summer music camp programs since 2017. She often performs duets alongside her twin sister, Asa.

Ava studied classical piano under Sister Claire Durocher and Jordyn Severin. She has performed throughout Windsor-Essex County for community events, music competitions and recitals. She is currently studying at the ARCT level under our studio owner, Jordyn. She is well known at the studio for her show stopping recital performances that are delicate and beautiful. She helped our beginner students feel relaxed at our last recital with her moving solo performance of Clair de Lune. She is currently working on Un Sospiro in D flat Major (see next slide for a short video from today’s lesson).

In addition to taking lessons and teaching at our studio, Ava is a full time Biology student at the University of Windsor. We know that her hard work and dedication to her studies will help make her a great role model for young students.
